Flutie and the Blow Hards
is the whimsical creation of four local (Florida) Flute making/playing friends. Spider, Bruce, Mark and Chuck all lend their personal style of flute playing to this project. The music, some soothing yet exciting and some exciting, as well as soothing will bring you to many places from the creative and amusing places in their minds.
The flutes used for the project range from high drones in the key of "D" to the haunting sounds of the exotic fujara mimicking the call of the great whales. All tracks, but one, contain only organic music from live musicians with no electronic synths used.
