Entering a forest just before twilight you are dazzled by the colors all around you: lush greens, rich browns, the deep blue of the sky, and the colors of the leaves that start to change with the coming of fall. Suddenly you notice what you thought was a tree in the distance is starting to walk towards you. Surprised you see it is not a tree but a maiden, her gown mirroring the colors of the forest around her. She lifts back her hood, letting her hair fall down; she is the Forest Maiden, keeper of the trees.
Our newest creation, the forest maiden dress, came to us when a customer was asking for a dress to mirror the elements and the seasons. We came up with a graceful design; with back lacing and a front panel that matches a color you would see in nature. This color is also used in the sleeve and hood lining. There is also lacing in the front that allows the wearer to make the fit tighter or looser, as they wish. As with all of our dresses, this is custom made for the customer, taking 3-4 weeks approx. to complete before shipping. Our colors are limited at the moment, but remember, it is custom made, so if you do not see the color you want, contact us and our seamstress will contact you ASAP.
Currently the main dress color is a rich brown, with the panel color options being green, blue, gold, and orange/red. You can even select one of our trims for the sleeve if you wish.
If you do not see your size, contact us, or order the size closest to it, since we will send you a custom order form the size ordered is not an issue (we cut the dress based on your measurements)
Special, for Samhain we will be offering this dress in Black as well, with Red & Purple panel colors.
