Groom’s Celtic side lacing Doublet
This doublet is wonderful, designed to lace on the sides, with the front and back perfectly formed. The doublet can be done either as one solid color, or have an insert (as pictured in this custom doublet) that is the same color as the brides under dress or the wedding party colors. One other way is to do a solid color and have Celtic knot work trim in a V on the front. Not only visually stunning, but elongating as well. The doublet will be custom sizes just for the groom, so the fit will be perfect, and after the reception he can loosen the side lacing, as one sometimes needs to after a good feast.
There will be a few color choices, but remember, this is a custom item, don’t see the colors you want, contact us, and our seamstress will work with you to make it just what you want. Fabrics are Linen or rich satin, while the inserts range from satin, crepe, brocade etc, depending on the wants of the wedding party. This doublet is also fully lined.
